The Lobster was always cooked to perfection and one night there was a young man playing on the keyboards. He entertained the entire crowd. Great food, good wine and great music. It doesn't get any better than that. Out of all of the seafood restaurants on LBI, this was the place to be in the summer of 2008. Looking forward to another great time in 2009.

Awesome food, the fried scallops were so fresh and perfectly cooked, everything was wonderful from the cole slaw and fries to the key lime pie. I would have to say best seafood on the Island. And the owner was fantastic, he wasn't grumpy at all but friendly and personable. Can't wait to go back!! Gary (8/14/2008)
Freshest, best tasting seafood on Long Beach Island, if not the entire Jersey shore. The owner was grumpy (like the soup nazi) in previous years, but he's suddenly nice this year. (Maybe he read this page!!) Try the Chilled Carribbean Soup and the Jersey Crab Sandwich. Highly highly recommended. Richard Dryfuss (6/25/2008)

I enjoy their take out,ready in 15 minutes always hot and never dissapointing. Whether it's lobster, steamers, or a homemade burger on a sourdough roll it's always great! And I love the "Grumpy Old Guy behind the counter" I think he's cute! June (9/13/2007)
Fussy Kids? The chicken tenders and fried flounder please mine every time. Homemade and fresh. If I'm not that hungry a kids meal does the trick every time. delicious! Susan (9/10/2007)

If it weren't for the nasty old guy that owns the place, it would get a few stars BUT, as others have said, he is a nasty bastard that quickly convinces others to stay away!

The food is ok but the managment is absolutely awful. It is run by a grumpy old man who i have witnessed be cruel to both patrons and his own staff. me and my family boycott this restaurant.
