A wonderful stay and we took advantage of the "Stay 2 nights-get one free-Midweek Special" we saved over $300. View from the oceanfront building were fantastic. We felt very safe and the security guard was quite friendly late at night. The staff was courteous. My family will return next year.

Simply clean/spotless rooms on the Ocean and Ocean Block. I was very happy with the room, the location and the friendly staff. The view from the 3rd floor Oceanfront was fantastic. I will advise friends and family to go to this small/quiet motel on LBI. Nice Job Manager/Owners-we will be back.  Marie (4/23/2007)
This hotel was one of the filthiest places I have ever stayed. Sand in the beds. And the mattress must have been at least 15 years old. I rented one of the waterfront view rooms at extra charge. It was a waste of good money.

This Hotel was excellently cleaned. I had no problem with the cleanliness of the rooms, they were magnificant. But the management was rude and unpersonal. I suggest that when and if you go, to avoid the high management at any cost if you don't feel like being treated badly.

You can't fault the location, it is superb. But this motel is very bad value for money. The beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. If you have any form of back problem be warned. The rollaway provided for our daughter was of a shocking quality. You would be advised to take a airbed, than use it. The rooms were not cleaned particularly well. They wouldn't even replace used glasses. You were expected to wash them yourself. Being next to a beach, it would be helpful to have a laundry to use, but they failed to provide this also. My husband and I have decided that it will be cheaper to get a beachfront rental next year, and still be able to eat out for our meals for less money than this motel costs.  vince (6/20/2006)

Very unpleasant stay here, felt very unsafe due to certain circumstances and when higher management was made aware of these problems they did nothing to help us about our complaint. Rhonda A (9/22/2004)
A beautiful, back to the beach weekend without the bordwalk, and noise, and limited neighbors. We loved it. |
